Our Purified HP-Ultra Tea Complex is ultra premium grade and organic. We use a proprietary double extraction process to extract high levels of active compounds and essence from Yinzhen Silver Needle white tea, Japanese matcha green tea and South African green Rooibos tea, and EGCG 90% standardized green tea extract.

Yinzhen Silver Needle white tea - contains the highest level of polyphenols of any tea - (higher than green tea). Polyphenols are the active ingredients in teas that have strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anticarcinogenic properties. For the skin it offers potent and clinically documented anti-aging, sun damage reapair, anti-inflammatory, soothing, and skin brightening benefits.

We use what is considered the rarest, finest, and most expensive variety amongst white teas - Yinzhen Silver Needle white tea from Bai Hao Yinzhen. It is chiefly produced in Fujian Province in China commonly just known as Yinzhen. The very best Yinzhen are picked between March 15 and April 10 when it is not raining and only using undamaged and unopened delicate top buds.

Japanese matcha green tea - is considered one of the finest premium grade matcha teas. Matcha tea is a Japanese powdered green tea.

Matcha is cultivated by covering tea plants with bamboo mats several weeks prior to harvest, which increases its chlorophyll content and gives it its fresh bright green color. The harvested leaves are dried and stone-ground into matcha powder. Thin and thick matcha are made from the highest qualtiy leaves, which are de-spined and stone-ground into emerald green powder. For this reason matcha contains, by volume, higher concentrations of catechins and vitamins than regularly steeped green tea.

High-grade matcha (thick and thin) are made in limited amounts in Japan. It is this preciousness and its origins in Zen Buddhism that gave rise to the Japanese Tea Ceremony.

Green Rooibos tea - is a remarkable plant cultivated in South Africa. Green rooibos tea is more potent in anti-oxidants than the much touted red rooibos tea. While green tea is touted for its high-levels of anti-oxidants, research shows that green rooibos tea is far more powerful, with 100 times greater anti-oxidant properties than green tea. As a topical extract, Rooibos' potent anti-oxidants combat and destroy harmful free radicals, the scavengers that adversely affect the skin and promote premature aging.

In addition, Rooibos applied topically provides strong protection against damage done by sun exposure. Anecdotal evidence is also mounting that this extract enhances the healing of irritations like eczema, sunburn, and acne.
