- Water temperature used during "steaming" step has to be warm enough, but being careful to be not too hot, to "melt" or loosen oils/dirt on the skin
- Remove much of makeup first (with oil) - so makeup/dirt is not concentrated when your trying to cleanse the skin. Then start OCM for deep cleansing the skin.
- Alternate different forms of cleansing between OCM and Cleansing Oils
- Try to gently rub at least 1 minute to help loosen oils and dirt
- Very dry skin users can usually use OCM 2x per day
- Important - make sure you remove any oil residue along the outer borders of your face.
- Always use clean washcloths
- Try using two washcloths together on face when "steaming" to hold heat longer
- T-zone types should use a oil blend mixture that leans toward dry concerns - the oily side will usually become positively balanced
- Concentrate massage on areas where pores are clogged and enlarged
